Hello and welcome!! 

My name is Brittany and I am the founder and owner of Let’s Paws and Eat of East Hartford and I want to tell you a little about myself and my story on how I got here. 

After I graduated college in 2012 with a bachelors of Science in Business Administration at Nichols College, I worked in the restaurant as a server and bartender from 2012-2018 learning about the importance of food safety. During that time I was also traveling all over the United States visiting national parks and hiking and just seeing the states. I've been through 47 states! In 2013 I lived in Oregon until 2018, which was the best year of my life, 2018, I adopted a 9 week old mixed mutt that I named Sebastian. From the moment I saw him I loved him, and I knew he was going to change my life forever but there was still something missing in my life, my family. I am originally from Connecticut and I packed up my stuff and moved back home. Best Decision of my life! Thats where the happiness started. When I got home my dog was not getting along with one of my mom's dogs, and that's where it all changed, I needed a dog trainer, so I called Ricky Jones from Divine Canine Solutions and booked a one on one consultation. Just one thought, He changed my world for so many reasons, he taught me how to have an amazing relationship with Sebastian which I thought I already had, and from the moment I met Ricky, I fell in love with him and knew I wanted to spend my life with him. (We got married summer of 2023!!) From 2018-2020 I worked as a dog trainer, which was one of the best experiences of my life learning about dogs, but....

In 2020 I was laid off during the pandemic. The uncertainty of the changing world inspired me to find my passion and to do what made me happy. I am an avid home cook and baker, and in December 2020 I decided to create my own business making dog treats right from home and offering them for sale online. So, I set to work thinking of a name, creating a logo, registering my business experimenting with recipes and registering my treats. My wonderful Husband, Ricky, always keeps me going, he is also a small business owner of Divine Canine Solutions, and works so hard and is such and inspiration! I definitely wouldn't be where I am today without him! I love You Ricky!

My other love, my beautiful pup, Sebastian is the inspiration behind the genius. He has a sensitive gut and is allergic to chicken, so I needed to make a recipe that suited his needs, and I did! He absolutely loves my handmade dog treats and his stomach works with them! My passion for pups and dedication to quality motivated me to only use healthy, wholesome, and appropriate components and my treats are produced with limited ingredients and without additives, fillers, or preservatives.

I love what I do and would never make a treat I wouldn't give to my own beloved Sebastian. 

Let’s Paws and Eat is still growing and coming up with new ideas and flavors to make for our best friends. I am so excited to be here and can't wait to see 

what the future brings for my business!
